Key parameters also include: single wire diameter, number of strands, stranding pitch ratio, and tightness, all of which collectively ensure the conductor's excellent electrical and mechanical properties. This is the first step in wire and cable production and directly affects the conductivity and quality stability of the final product.

The delegation also focused on the insulation extrusion process. The technical requirements for plastic insulation extrusion include eccentricity control, surface smoothness, and cross-sectional density. Zhengfeng Wire&Cable's workshop has silicone wire production lines, teflon wire production lines, and PVC wire production lines. The insulation extrusion process differs for each production line; for example, silicone wire insulation requires a rubber compounding process, while Teflon wire insulation requires baking and heating.
